Partnering with Kodak Moments and Fjällräven Ians new project intertwined his two passions: Photography and wild landscapes. In late September 2017 Ian crossed, on foot, the Lake District National Park whilst using a simple Kodak throwaway camera and the 27 images (cameras limit) to photograph the entire journey. The aim was no endless DSLR shots, no ISO's, apertures or settings and no smartphone. This project was purely about simplicity, developing story and creative connection.
Ian also partnered with Kev Merrey of SkyRise Productions to make a short film of the project to be released later in the year. Sky Rise has produced beautiful films with the likes of Alastair Humphreys, Sean Conway and Laura Kennington.
