Villmark Expedition - Sjunkhatten National Park, Arctic Norway

In late June 2017 Ian and adventurers Jamie Barnes and Emma Hall travelled deep into the arctic circle to cross, on foot, the remote Norwegian wilderness within Sjunkhatten National Park. The Villmark expedition was not only a chance to explore this vast region, but through the vehicle of adventure, aimed to raise awareness about protecting the region which, combined with Rago National Park and the Swedish equivalents, are the last great wildernesses of Europe.

To support this highly successful expedition Ian the team worked closely with Sidetracked magazine on an Instagram takeover project where the journey was covered via Sidetracked's Instagram with photography and live video’s. They were also in partnership with Fjallraven,  Firepot-Outdoorfood and Clif Bar UK.
